HOSPITALITY | RETAIL | OFFICE
Zone Design specialises in the design and documentation of hospitality, retail and commercial interior fit outs.
Wendy’s Australia
Wendys Australia first store on comeback trail. Design inspired by blue vertical stripe pattern as evident of the Wendys in the late 1960’s.
McDonalds’ Town Hall
The shopfront was designed with a seamless glass facade to elegantly showcase the various levels within the building and showcase the ‘yellow staircase’ connecting each level.
Nando’s: St Lukes
One of Zone Designs most successful projects. A very large linear awkward space, well planned into BOH, FOH and dining zones. Beautiful palette of African reds and greens together with pops of black resulted in an outstanding outcome.
Guzman y Gomez: Seaford
A modern and efficient Kitchen design on full display to customers to watch their orders speed down the assembly line in preparation by experts hands.
El Jannah: Craigieburn
The design palette talks freshness with the pop accent colour of green (think North African hand crafted rich veined tiles) surrounded by a complimentary mutual tonal arrangement of light timbers, beige range crazy paving, white cream wall paints / renders and some black steel work to counteract and give definition.
Schnitz: Balaclava
The founders of the Schnitz brand wanted to rebrand the look and feel aesthetic from the Bavarian Beer Hall recycled interior look to a more traditional look showing the family roots and history namely Poland.
Hungry Jacks Gladstone
The new Hungry Jacks brand concept combines tactile finishes and relaxed colour pallets reflecting the longevity of the brands presence in Australia.
Red Rooster
The interior has been activated to form a modern interpretation of an Australia barn with exposed timber stud work, weather board wall linings and also feature elements of pressed steel
TGI Fridays: Surfers Paradise
TGI Friday first restaurant in QLD at Robina Town Centre. Zone Design enjoyed working with the Signature Group and their collaborative property team.
McDonald’s: Rhodes / Spencer Street
One of Zone Designs most successful projects. A very large linear awkward space, well planned into BOH, FOH and dining zones. Beautiful palette of African reds and greens together with pops of black resulted in an outstanding outcome.
Nando’s: Bendigo
A complete overhaul of a very large Nando’s restaurant whereby the whole front facade was opened up to create atmosphere and activate the space from the exterior.
Guzman y Gomez: Croydon
GYG stands for all things authentic, from its food, culture, the restaurant design and the customer experience. Alongside the strong Mexican influence, the GYG urban influence comes straight from the street; rusted, rough, industrial elements.
Nando’s Werribee
Nandos Werribee had to be completely gutted and redone due to landlords’ issues with the integrity of the structural and support system.
TGI Fridays: Doncaster
Patrons can enjoy their meals and beverages in a New York styled modern diner, with the store featuring both indoor and outdoor seating, a central bar, TV screens playing sports and an open kitchen.
Guzman y Gomez: Elsternwick
Authentic materials used in the palette like real concrete, bricks, hardwood timbers, no imitations here! These materials reflect the overarching concept & aesthetic of the GYG brand. Finishes are distressed, textured, layered & imperfect.
Nando’s: Courtenay Place NZ
How does one retain character of the heritage listed building whilst at the same time incorporating the new Africa aesthetic into the look and feel. Secondly resolution of a very long, deep and narrow restaurants where for diagrammatic reasons, some dining zones will be removed from natural light and more intimate.
Hungry Jacks Toowoomba
The new Hungry Jacks brand concept combines tactile finishes and relaxed colour pallets reflecting the longevity of the brands presence in Australia.
Schnitz Emporium
Designed in beautiful light timber tones and green stacked tiles representing the freshness of the product, this space is a series of delicately placed light timber panels.
Oporto: Surry Hills
Contemporary Portuguese tile patterns and motifs in blues, yellows and reds, juxtaposed with greening elements (Portuguese country side) help create an inviting and activated space.
