Nando’s Highpoint

Nandos’s Highpoint underwent a major refurbishment whereby the mandate was to upcycle as many of the materials as possible so it’s not to add to the carbon footprint.

Tables and chairs. Linear and booth banquettes, timber wall panelling and light fittings were all up upcycled and given future use through the addition of additional layers that changed their DNA and in so doing creating a new and refreshed palette. A living green vertical wall is located at the entry with a red neon cockerel attached,  which acts as an activation statement and draws one into the space.

Here, a beautiful fine timbered curved bulkhead with a black patterned painted geometric motif draws one through the space. The prominent entry columns are adorned with geometric ochre and red palleted timber panels which are again reused in the back of the dining zones for consistency.

All in all a very successful outcome with a consistent palette running through, which has a desired effect of drawing people into the space and enjoying a magnificent meal
