Pixelate Concept
In early 2023, Zone Design Pty Ltd was asked to develop a new design concept for an up-and-coming international brand by one of Zone Design’s key clients and major world player in the Family Entertainment Centre industry. The incoming international brand’s existing design was underdeveloped and somewhat dated.
The concept design needed to be in line with the dynamic technology entertainment that the brand was introducing to the FEC landscape. Our process of brand exploration and aesthetic expression has resulted in exciting and unique concept direction. Players are greeted at the venue entry with bold illuminated monolithic forms that encourage the sense of substance and technology. The inclusion of digital elements at the entry portal draws the eye in to wander in and explore.
The internal spaces are a dynamic mix of ‘tech’ surfaces, graphic artwork walls and uninterrupted linear LED strip lighting. The custom Pixel inspired flooring, and the LED linear lighting encourage circulation through to the game room waiting space. The players are treated to a wide variety of fully interactive games in the individual games’ rooms and would find this both an intellectual and physically challenging immersive experience.
